This unique hospitality training program focuses on building hospitality and personal skillsets. It is delivered in a live commercial kitchen at Wesley Mission’s Edward Eagar Lodge, operated by Bright’s accredited chefs in partnership with our RTO partner, TAFE NSW.

Over 8 weeks, students gain the necessary skills and experience in kitchen workplace safety, cleaning and maintaining a commercial kitchen and food preparation to apply for a position as a kitchen hand, steward, food preparation cook, apprentice chef or commercial cleaner. Training includes work experience with our employment partners including The Star, Merivale, Catholic Care and other restaurant, cafe and hotels around Sydney.
