Wesley Edward Eagar Lodge in Surry Hills, Sydney, offers a comprehensive support program to residents and those in the wider community. The program addresses the physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, vocational and recreational needs of those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Bright operate the kitchens at Edward Eagar Lodge, preparing and serving up to 200 breakfast and dinner meals to the homeless every day. It’s a perfect synergy – marginalised people learning and working, whilst self-improving and helping others. The same values underpin our work – social justice and the belief in the intrinsic value of all people.
Bright and Wesley are wholly committed to an ongoing partnership where we continually improve people’s lives and demonstrate to them their self-worth.
Wesley Mission delivers a range of short, long-term and supported accommodation for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Last year it provided support and accommodation to almost 1,700 people and provided nearly 74,000 nights of accommodation.
